Human-Robot Collaboration and AI Workshop at ERF 2024
The SOPRANO project will participate in the upcoming Workshop: Human-robot collaboration and AI – Hype or Reality? to be held 13 March at 16:40-18:00 as part of the European Robotics Forum in Rimini, Italy. The workshop is co-organised by SOPRANO partner PROFACTOR in collaboration with 5 other EU-funded projects: AI-PRISM, COGNIMAN, CONVERGING, FELICE, and FLUENTLY, and will focus on real use cases to identify the main barriers for adoption and the human-centric and societal challenges that come with advances in AI and technologies for human-robot collaboration.
The workshop will also explore emerging formal definitions, classifications, and standardisations aimed to support industry and empower workers. The agenda includes 6 keynote speakers from academic and industry who will share expert knowledge in agile 5-minute impulse talks, along with 2 expert panels discussing: Key human-centric challenges and human-robot collaboration best practices and standards, which will ensure a balanced exploration of both social and technical aspects for Workshop participants.
The SOPRANO project welcomes the opportunity to introduce the project and the technology innovations that will be developed to enable safe and reliable multi-human multi-robot teaming, along with the human-centred industrial robotics applications in Manufacturing, Construction and Smart Agri-food being targeted by the project.
